Quorum Architects’ David Lee honored with Wooten service award

– Feb. 6, 2008 –
David J. Lee, AIA, a principal with Quorum Architects, has been awarded the distinguished James R. Wooten Service Award from the American Institute of Architects Fort Worth. This is the highest honor the chapter bestows on its individual members.

The James R. Wooten Award honors a chapter member who best exemplifies the characteristics of sustained, consistent, and effective service in accomplishing the chapter’s goals.

“David is a leader, a mentor, a role model for our 500 members, and someone we all respect,” said Eric Hahnfeld, chairman of the chapter’s Honors & Awards Committee, at a recent awards dinner. “His tireless efforts and commitment to AIA Fort Worth make him the perfect candidate to receive this most prestigious award.”

Lee is co-founder, owner and principal of Quorum Architects, a full-service architectural planning and design firm based in Fort Worth, Texas. He has served the AIA Fort Worth chapter since 1987 in such leadership positions as president, vice president, vice president of programs, honors and awards chair, and as an active member of numerous committees. He also served as Texas Society of Architects director for two years.
