Carrollton Animal Services and Adoption Center

Nestled between McInnish Park and Sandy Lake road. the 9,000-square-foot Carrollton Animal Shelter and Adoption Facility is distinguished from traditional animal shelters by placing an emphasis on increasing visitors and their comfort, providing a healthy environment filled with natural daylight for the animals, and ultimately increasing adoptions. Quorum Architects successfully incorporated a number of unique spaces that contribute to these features including viewing the adoptable animals from a quiet, conditioned space, providing various spaces for interaction with the animals including a very attractive large outdoor Get-to-Know courtyard, enveloped in stone veneer and wrought iron fence, and clean, durable, and temperate rooms for housing the animals. The facility was designed to reduce the risk of airborne diseases and provide adequate space for employees to care for the animals. In addition to the beautifully displayed felines in the Lobby, one of the first things a visitor will notice is the quiet and relaxed atmosphere in the facility for the employees, visitors, and animals. (This 9,000 SF facility includes an Employee Plaza, Work room, Get-to-Know Indoor rooms and Courtyard. It also features indoor cages and a cat display room.
