Picture the distance between New Jersey and Texas. That's a small measurement in comparison to Doug's passion for architecture. Growing up in the Garden State, Doug began drawing as a way to bring home what he saw and experienced during the day. This discovery and ability to capture surroundings and generate ideas continue to this day. Those early drawings became the seeds from which his career has grown. As Doug sees it, design is all about discovering what is necessary for a successful project. This process evolves as one listens to the client's expectations and combines that with technology, common sense and imagination. Mix all this with the context of place, and one can achieve a responsible design with the wow factor every project and client deserves. Doug's designs set the bar for excellence at the firm and serve as examples of good design.
