ProfileServicesSustainable Design

We were green before green was considered cool. At Quorum, we believe sustainable design is essential in reducing the impact we have on our environment. Consequently, we approach every project with three things in mind: Reduce, reuse and recycle.

A prime example of this approach is the 8th Avenue Postal facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This facility was the first in the nation – way back in 1997 – to explore and use alternative energy and recycled materials. The building was constructed on a brownfield site and uses one of the first water harvesting systems in the state for complete site irrigation. What’s more, we used renewable resources in the Post Office’s compressed wheat straw panels.
