Laundry Building

Fort Worth, TX

Quorum designed the renovation to bring this empty 47,000 square foot building back to its former glory days. Originally built in 1927, the Laundry building, modified and repurposed over the years, fell into disrepair having stood empty for decades. It’s located on the booming near south side of downtown where many new buildings are going up among the remaining historic brick buildings. The phased plan includes removing the stones from the façade and cleaning and restoring the original brick and windows. The concept calls for street level retail and restaurants and second floor office space and includes four 2,000 square foot movie theaters with a lobby bar.
