Aquaman: Power Wave

The Park's 14th roller coaster is the first of its kind in the US. The water coaster's unique features include two 150-foot-high towers on a 2,000-foot track with a large pool in the middle. A boat of 20 riders is propelled straight down at 90° and 63 mph and back up the other tower finally, splashing down into the central pool on the boat's fourth pass over the pool.

The large pool is an engineering marvel - with water levels lower and rise to create the massive splash only on the final pass. While the ride is in progress, a large turntable orients a second boat allowing staff to load passengers and lower wait times.

Quorum’s architectural services include planning and locating the ride on the site, designing the surrounding pad and structures, and coordinating of all the structural and mechanical engineering consultants.
