"Design starts with the space between the ears, not the space between the walls.”
– Doug Moon

Doug is a Principal and founding partner at Quorum Architects. He’s a leader of Quorum’s great architectural design team that has orchestrated many successful commercial, retail, healthcare, and senior care design projects.

Doug is licensed in 25 States and is a professional Architect and Director in LEED and Green design at Quorum. Doug has worked on a myriad of projects during which he developed on-going client relationships.  Doug has a special ability to envision the client’s goals, and creatively implement them in drawings that results in successful projects. Doug believes in “People First” design. Listen to each client for their ideas, thoughts, and vision for their space and then bring them to life.  He believes a well-designed space should entice you to enter, then provide light, sound, and pattern for your journey through that space. It should be functional, efficient, and remarkable.

A New Jersey native, Doug arrived in Texas as soon as he could. He attended Texas A&M University, graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architectural Design, met his future wife and started on the greatest life journey. He loves to spend time with his fantastic wife, and his awesome kids (no matter how old they get). He gets energized by helping create a great workplace. He likes to stay active outdoors by cycling, camping, and watching baseball. He enjoys working around the house, and taking things apart to see how they work, with hopes of putting them back together.
