Fort Worth Park Maintenance Facility

Fort Worth, TX

The City of Fort Worth wanted to consolidate all their park and recreation departments on one 17.4-acre site while remaining operational. A phased construction schedule was a logical solution.

Phase 1 consisted of a primary administrative and staging building and a collection of four other storage buildings and structures totaling 38,022 square feet. Phase 2 consisted of an office building along with three other storage buildings and shelters totaling 29,500 square feet. In addition to staging and crew rooms, the buildings house shops, offices, conference rooms, break rooms and storage for equipment, vehicles and supplies to maintain all the City’s grounds and parks.

Quorum enhanced the aesthetics of the metal-sided staging building with a red accented entrance and masonry wainscoting that helps protect the metal exterior, adding texture and a sense of permanence.
